My friend, Deb, and I. Bozenka and I are 37 weeks along and I think Deb and Grace are 35 weeks. No, we didn't plan to color coordinate that day....we're just that good. =D

| So, Shane and I got married on 6/7/08. The pictures are here. It was very small but the cabin was beautiful. It ended a lot earlier than I had hoped. In fact, I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy myself because we were taking pictures the *entire* time. There were other snafus as well, but I won't go into that.
I'm currently 6 months pregnant. In fact, I'm starting my 24th week today according to my due date. I think I just look pudgy, but I don't feel like I have a real baby bump. I've got some strange pregnancy mask thing going on under my mouth and around my nose. You can kind of see it in the picture. Since I've been pregnant, those two areas are constantly red and peeling. That's not really a new issue because I've always had the skin of a leper, but I'm over it. It's been 6 months now!
We've passed a bunch of milestones so far. I can feel the baby kick, Shane felt the baby kick last week, yesterday I notice that others can see the baby kick as well because my stomach will jump if s/he gets me in the right spot. Unfortunately, she likes to play soccer with my bladder quite a bit. I'm afraid I'm going to piss myself one of these times. We had the ultrasound on June 18, 2007. Yes, I know the next question and no, we're not sure. The doctor said 60% chance of a hoohaa, 40% chance of a winky. The baby kept its legs closed during most of the ultrasound and when it did uncross the legs, we still couldn't get a good shot of it. We're just buying everything in neutral colors. They did decide to change my due date at the ultrasound though. They moved it up by a week. November 16, 2008....the day Shane and I had planned on getting married. The day that is inscribed on the inside of Shane's ring. Crazy huh? There are just too many coincidences to think of this baby as an accident. =)
I've been feeling pretty good, but I have to say, being this big isn't easy on the self-esteem. You know how people say that they think pregnant women are beautiful? Yeah....I didn't marry that guy. Sure, he tells me I'm beautiful...after I beat it out of him. Otherwise, Shane is extremely engaged in taking on the daddy role. He has gone to every single pre-natal appointment with me, gotten a little mist-eyed when we first heard the heartbeat. When he felt the baby kick last week, his eyes just lit up like a 4-year old on Christmas morning. Yep, all in all, I'm a pretty lucky girl.
